Holiday of the year: Phuket

Due to unforeseen circumstances (country’s unrest), we changed our itinerary from BKK to Phuket. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, ‘cos I enjoyed myself thoroughly in the land of smiles. We had the beach, sun, sand, shopping, awesome finger-licking food… everything you ever wanted in a paradise was there!
Everything was dirt-cheap except the taxis. Or maybe it was the location we chose la uh… but well, that didn’t dampen our mood and the lack-thereof an itinerary made this trip all the more exciting and here’s some highlights of the trip!

The SWANS were fascinating. Call me suaku la, but I’ve never seen such beautiful towel swans before!

I’ve a confession. As much as I like the grandeur of this suite room, this statue kinda scares me at night sometimes. But overall, it’s a suite room with a lot of artistic and cultural feel.

These 2 cute aunties really made my day lahh! I love making thai friends. :)
oh on a sidenote, a way to bargain for a even better price with the thai ladies
“you sui mak mak ahh!” (you very pretty!)

i love his DIY soft drinks. such a simple but innovative idea that I would wish to impart to my dear mummy. :P

the only tee shirts bape bought the entire trip for himself. Though a tad expensive, but their designs are unique and shirts are of high quality, so worth it la.
this.costs.40cents. just the price alone makes it taste so much better than our own version of maggie goreng!

“will you take me home?”

They sell milkshakes in a refurbished Volkswagen van. I kinda envy their simple lifestyle.

The shops leading to Kata beach were closed during the day, hence we couldn’t get to taste this 99baht indian curry.

The sea water was bluish-green. And the seabreeze was free-flow lor! Awesome balls.

American, Italian, thai, chinese, street, all kinds of food we whackkkked arh.

Some random shots of both of us. I really can’t ask for a better holiday companion than him. :)
Oh god, blogging about this makes me feel like going for a holiday AGAIN! :(

i love the suite you stayed in..where’s that place??
it’s called boomerang village. :) in kata beach. heh you planning to go there too?
